Anshu Shukla is the Chief Design Officer at Mahindra Lifespaces, with over two decades of experience in architecture, design management, & real estate development. Her expertise spans residential, commercial, & premium housing projects across India, with a focus on high-density urban development, sustainability, & design efficiency. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Mumbai University & a postgraduate degree in Construction Management from NICMAR. A strong believer in the power of design to drive business outcomes, Anshu has led initiatives that institutionalise design processes, align creative vision with execution, & integrate sustainability into every stage of development. At Mahindra Lifespaces, Anshu leads a multidisciplinary team, & collaborates closely with external consultants to deliver spaces that are aligned with the organisation’s long-term vision. Her impact spans delivering transformative projects, notably in high-density urban housing, championing sustainability & cost-efficiency. She is an Accredited Professional of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC AP) & a member of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA). Actively engaged in design leadership forums, she is also a mentor to young professionals in the field, advocating for inclusive, resilient, & future-ready built environments. Outside of work, Anshu is a storyteller, traveller, & writer who draws creative inspiration from diverse cultures & urban landscapes.
